Give a Letter, Get a Letter: Introducing Sandboxx’s Referral Program

At Sandboxx, our users often ask us, “how can I share Sandboxx with my friends and family?!” Because of this, we’re incredibly excited to announce an awesome addition to the Sandboxx app: a referral and rewards program that can benefit all of our users, old and new!

This program provides an easy and straightforward way to share Sandboxx with your friends and family so they can use Letters and book travel to support your, and any other, recruit or service member. Additionally, for every new customer you refer to Sandboxx that sends a Letter 💌, we’ll add one free Letter credit to your account (a $3 value)!

Ready to spread the word about Sandboxx and start earning Letter credits 💌? Open your app and follow these simple steps:

1. On the Letters screen, you’ll see an option to earn free Letters. You’ll be able to earn these credits by sharing Sandboxx with your friends and family. Tap “Earn Free Letters” to get started.

2. Next, use the “Send invite” button to share Sandboxx with your friends and family, either via SMS, email, or through another app of your choice (like Facebook Messenger, or WhatsApp).

3. Once someone signs up for a Sandboxx account through your link, they’ll need to purchase a credit for their first Letter and send it. Once your referral sends that first Letter, both you and your referral will receive a free Letter credit (a $3 value) in your respective accounts.

4. To see a complete overview of all of your referrals and the credits that you’ve earned, you can tap “Your earned Letter credits” to access all of this information.

I have long-standing military roots through my family, as my grandfather served in the Army as a pediatrician. Since then, I’ve become more actively involved with the military community thanks to my fiancé and partner of over six years, who is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army, where he serves as a pediatric cardiologist. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Sandboxx team so that I can give back to such an important community and group of people.

  1. Is there a place where you can see pictures of Parris Island boot camp with current recruits?

      1. Hi, Lynn. We’re sorry to hear this. We would love to discuss this further with you. Please reach out to support@sandboxx.us for further assistance. Thank you for using Sandboxx.

  2. Is there a place where I can see what is happening at Lackland like under kin it lists what they are doing but then when you click on it the page is blank

  3. It isn’t quite clear. After receiving a Sandboxx letter, d
oes your recruit get a STAMPED pre-addressed envelope or just a pre-addressed envelope in order to write you back?

    1. Hi, Tara. Your recruit does not receive pre-paid postage. They will receive the pre-addressed return envelope and will just need to add the stamp to send the letter. There is miscommunication about the pre-paid stamps. ONLY users who signed up in the app PRIOR to Feb. 17th receive pre-paid stamps. We changed our policy in February, 2018 and any users who signed up prior to Feb. 17th were grandfathered into receiving pre-paid postage. Any users who signed up after Feb. 17th, 2018, will not receive the pre-paid postage. We hope this helps.

  4. Hi, I was sent the link, I downloaded the app, and sent a letter but neither myself or the other person got a free credit? What did I do wrong?
